Tis' the season for birthdays in my family and I am blessed enough with loving family members who request that I create a cake for my little neices and nephews. I love it! I really do miss it when I don't have the chance. This weekend we joined my middle sister and her family to celebrate my neice's birthday. Kaitlyn is in love with surfing and she is like a mermaid! She requested a surf themed cake to match the theme of the party and it was so much fun! The birthday girl also requested that it be a vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream...and that it have a pink surf board on top with a blue flower..:)
